libertarianism. We usually do not have the necessary knowledge to intervene
effectively in the economy, and the political process is such that, even if we
did, we still likely would get bad policy, coupled with an ever-growing
government sector.
Libertarian Party (LP) Executive Director Wes Benedict points out that every
time politicians say they're going to create jobs, they end up destroying more
jobs than they create! The Libertarian approach to unemployment is to cut taxes
and spending, and let the free market work.unemployment.There are many examples of this, well known to many economists.
Minimum wage laws cause unemployment.Government-mandated unemployment insurance
causes unemployment.Welfare and food stamps cause unemployment.Occupational
licensing laws cause unemployment.
Two major parties in every Western country try to commoditize all voters,
transforming them to vegetables in the center field!Rabblerousers gravitate to
two dominant parties running for the center, trying to offend as few people as
possible. This produces a groupthink where everybody avoids the issues when
they're running
for office. Most Westerners are disappointed in both major parties. They're
hungry for a new approach, a new party, truly committed to substantive ideas,
and not just to getting elected and focusing on their particular election
cycles.of at-will employment.Because the government won't let employers hire,
maintain, and fire employees on a truly at-will basis, it makes employment much
riskier.Employers are scared to hire people because it can be so difficult to
fire them if they don't work out, and employers are sometimes even scared to
interview people because they might be forced to hire them. The result?More
unemployment.
Lemmings are Arctic rodents of poor eyesight, which can drown en ma*se.American
Lemmings vote for Republicans or Decocrats.Europeans behave like lemmings when
they masochistically vote for kleptocrats.British lemmings vote for Whigs or
Tories.Greek lemmings vote for Pasok or Nea Democratia.Eurolemmings rely on
the spinmill of Brussels bromides. Are you a lemming? Are you a victim of
taxation and kleptocracy? It's time for soulsearching and vision examination.
What about all the stimulus spending we've seen during the last two
administrations?Obama and Fuehrer Merkozy cannot understand that stimulus
funds stimulate government, not the economy.Downturn in a business cycle is
painful but necessary medicine for restoring equilibrium to the economic system.
Reject further lowering of the interest rate (stimulative monetary policy) or
any other attempts (for example, deficit spending or stimulative fiscal policy)
to stimulate demand.sector, which causes a net loss of jobs.Stimulus spending makes our future
less secure, without doing any good in the present. It destroys jobs today, as
well as down the road.
Kleptocrats promote phobias and bogeys in order to take the attention of voters
away from taxation and kleptocracy, and to have a fantastic opportunity to
present themselves as Moses who leads the people to salvation!Rabblerousers
make a living out of convincing people that the sky is falling. The essence of
statesmanship in a
free society is just the opposite, helping people understand the facts and
proposing real solutions to real problems. You have to know when to stop doing
something.Hitler did not know.Mousolini did not know.Kleptocrats do not know
when to stop looting the producers and fooling all citizens. They do not
understand that the
parasites and the host die together.
Benedict points out back in 2009, the Obama administration was worried that
unemployment might reach 8 percent. So they pushed through a ma*sive stimulus
program, and unemployment went up even higher, to 10 percent. The stimulus
program made our problems worse. And in 2008, George W. Bush championed a
counterproductive plan to send $300-$600 stimulus checks to millions of people.
Republicans and Democrats in the federal and state governments need to stop
trying to help, because they're only making things worse.Instead, they need to
get out of the way and let us free Americans solve the problem ourselves.
Citizens who want the government out of their wallets, their bedrooms, their
businesses, and their lives must vote for libertarians.Only libertarians try to
minimize government and maximize individual liberty. It's not a shame to lose an
election, but it's a shame to compromise your values in order to win an
election.
Obsession with polls is a sign of weak soul. The two major parties are willing
to say anything and promise everything in order to win an election.Of course,
after the election most promises are conveniently forgotten. The two major
parties need an awakening call. The LP is America's third-largest political
party, founded in 1971.The Libertarian Party stands for free markets, civil
liberties, and peace.it. The better choice is not dependence on government to solve problems for us,
but binding together in our community and solving problems together,
voluntarily.for a study! The studies can use up lots of resources and parliaments typically
ignore them, making them a waste of money. The Wall Street reform bill of the
U.S.Congress called for fifty studies, an impressive level of trying to look
busy while dodging controversy.
The cost of government regulation is truly staggering; it is also a barometer of
how free we are to pursue our own interests and to determine the course of our
own lives. The cost of regulations is one trillion dollars in USA and two
trillion euros in Fourth Reich(EU) every year. The global cost of regulation is
six trillion euros every year.Financial costs are not the only burden.
Regulations also result in a tremendous loss of one of our most valuable and
limited resources, time. The private sector is spending over 10 billion hours a
year just to meet government paperwork demands in USA, and 20 billion hours in
Fourth Reich. It is no wonder that regulation discourages the creation of new
businesses, new jobs, new products, and new services.Starve the beast by
fighting taxes.
