In a statement, Ms.Jayalalithaa said it had been reported in the media that the Centre was planning to introduce the Bill in the current session of Parliament.She charged that the Bill, in the garb of preventing communal and targeted violence, was another blatant attempt by the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre to totally bypa*s the State governments and invest all powers with the Central government.
